India won the toss and elected to bat

5th and last ODI of the series, India leading the series by 3-1. India would like to win the match to be at the no.1 in the ICC ranking whereas Sri Lanka is playing for the pride. 3-2 is much better then the 4-1 series loss.

Ajinkya Rahane is playing from India instead of Sehwag. This is surprise change by Dhoni as everyone was expecting Rohit Sharma would not play. Anyways Rahane has opened the inning with Gambhir, so far its been slow and steady start by India (15 in 3.4 overs).

Sri Lankan team landed without their captain Jayawardhane, AD Methews is debuting as captaining for lanka in ODI. Though he has already lead the team in T20s against the Pakistan series this would be real test for him.

According to PunterPolls experts, both the teams bowling department is not doing good and as India is batting first they have to score 290+ to fight with the lankans. Below that should be easy for lankans.

Pre match preview

India is leading the series 2-1. Sri lanka would like to win the today match to stay in the series while India would like to win the series by winning this match itself. India anyday a better team if you compare both the teams but home advantage for Sri Lanka.

By the time we started reviewing the match has already started. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. India has done a change, Manoj Tiwari replaces Rahul Sharma.

As par our experts, India should win this game as they are playing with long batting line-up. Other reason is, Lankans bowlers are not looking promiment enough. Rest will see what would happen in today's match.

Before match

India have won 1st ODI quite comfortably. Sri Lanka aiming for level the series while India would like to maintain the 2-0 lead. The condition of the ground and pitch says team winning toss would likely to go for field first.

Both teams have strong batting line-up and have weak bowling attack, and seems like conditions are more favourable to the bowler, so both the captains would like to take the advantage of it.

Team bat second would have more chances to grab the match.

PunterPolls Pick of the day is West Indies

Why?

After West Indies disappointing tour of England, WI playing 1st T20 against the New Zealanders todays at their home ground. Plenty of West Indian players have played quite a lot of cricket recently as compare to the New Zealanders.

I have no other option but to got with the WI. because of their strong batting performance and their spinner Naraine, who would be very effective at these conditions.

Betfair ODDs: 88p West Indies

Today's PunterPolls pick of the day is West Indies

Though this tour is not been the best for West Indians but they have played some good cricket in parts. In the ODIs their batting went flat after a good start, but here in this T20 match they don't have play 50 overs and they have more experienced T20 player as compare to England. WI should thanks to IPL for that.

England team will be lead by Stuart Broad, this team is on the edge for new age. Their top 3 player A.Cook, J.Trott and I.Bell will be missing along with Kevin peterson recent retirement. This match will be clearly a clash between WI batting and England bowling and it will be interesting to see how Narine bowls.

On and on I am with experienced team, West Indies.
